A Tip From The Pros You Can Use At Home
Need to hang something heavy but don’t have a stud finder? A simple electric razor can help locate studs behind your drywall!
To use this method, turn your electric razor on and press it flat against the wall. Listen to the clattering sound as you slowly move the razor side to side. As you pass over a stud, the pitch of the vibration will change because the stud cavity amplifies the sound differently. Mark the areas where the pitch is highest, and remember that most studs are spaced about 16 inches apart!

We are excited to congratulate Lighthouse Management Group on the completion of their new office space at Deluxe Plaza in Minneapolis! The firm has officially relocated from New Brighton and is now operating from its newly remodeled Minneapolis headquarters.
Crawford Merz was proud to partner with the project team on the 4,831-square-foot unit, featuring new private offices, conference rooms, a modern break room, and updated finishes throughout. Go-Karting at The Fair On 4
Last week, our team traded the jobsite for the go-kart track during a team-building event at The Fair on 4! It was a great opportunity to connect outside the office, enjoy some laughs, and engage in friendly competition.
The outing was especially meaningful to us because Crawford Merz helped build the space more than a decade ago. Seeing projects like this continue to evolve and serve the community is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do, and we’re proud to have been part of The Fair on 4’s story!
