A Tip From The Pros You Can Use At Home
If a screw turns without tightening, it’s likely that the screw hole is stripped. Fortunately, there’s a simple and effective way to fix it using toothpicks! First, dip several toothpicks in wood glue and insert them tightly into the stripped hole. Allow the glue to dry completely over about 48 hours, then trim the excess toothpick material flush with the surface. Finally, drill a new pilot hole and reinstall the screw for a tight, secure hold.

In December, PQI and its subsidiary, Advanced Inspection Services (AIS), proudly opened the doors to their brand-new facility! Crawford Merz was honored to partner with the project team on this exciting buildout, which transformed the existing calibration space to support the organizations’ ongoing growth and expand service offerings for their customers. The updated space now features four new labs (totaling 14,655 square feet), three training rooms, four conference rooms, a break area, and a dedicated customer center.
