A Tip From The Pros You Can Use At Home
Next time you tackle a painting project, try this simple trick to keep your paint can clean! Stretch a large rubber band vertically around the open can so it runs across the center of the opening. Instead of wiping excess paint from your brush along the rim, use the rubber band to catch the drips. This helps prevent paint from collecting in the rim, making cleanup easier and allowing the lid to seal properly when you’re finished!

Project Feature: MHEC
Crawford Merz is proud to announce the completion of our second project for the Midwestern Higher Education Compact (MHEC) at the historic Crown Roller Mill Building in Minneapolis!
As an existing tenant of the landmark building, located along the Mississippi River in the Mill District, MHEC partnered with our team once again to transform two separate suites into one cohesive 5,800-square-foot office space. The project included demolition and reconfiguration of the existing spaces to accommodate new private offices, huddle rooms, and open work areas for cubicles.
Congratulations to MHEC on your their space, we are so grateful for the opportunity to continue our partnership and help bring their new workspace to life! Click the link below to view more Crawford Merz projects on our online portfolio!

Community Emergency Service
Last month, our team volunteered at Community Emergency Service, a Minneapolis nonprofit providing food and other essential resources to individuals and families in need!
After helping restock the food shelves and prepare the store for the day’s shoppers, we learned about CES’s AniMeals program, which provides pet food and supplies to local pet owners. It is such a wonderful and important service for those whose pets are cherished family members. Here we are dividing large tubs of cat litter into smaller, easier-to-carry bags for shoppers who walk or take the bus!
Thank you, CES, for having us. We’re grateful for the opportunity to support our community and learn more about the meaningful work happening right here in Minneapolis!

Help Us Fight Hunger This Holiday Season!
As the holiday season approaches, Crawford Merz is proud to partner with Second Harvest Heartland to help fight hunger in our community! As one of the nation’s largest hunger-relief organizations, Second Harvest Heartland works to provide nutritious food to individuals and families facing food insecurity throughout Minnesota and western Wisconsin.
Please join us in making a difference through our Virtual Food Drive, where we will match all donations through the end of the year! We’re kicking things off with a goal of raising $300 by Thanksgiving, and hope to keep that momentum going through the end of the year. With every $1 donated, we can provide 3 meals to our neighbors and need, so even a small contribution can make a meaningful impact!
Thank you for helping us bring more meals, hope, and joy to our neighbors in need this holiday season!
