We are always looking for new ways to help our community, so when the opportunity to participate in Joy Collaborative’s Barkitecture Fundraiser came up, our team didn’t hesitate to get involved!

Joy Collaborative is a partnership of designers, architects and builders who come together to create life-enhancing spaces for youth with life-limiting conditions. They transform youth’s personal spaces with the help of donors, volunteers, and sponsors. One way Joy Collaborative fundraises is through their annual Barkitecture Event, a unique pet furniture design competition.

For the Barkitecture Event, we partnered with BDH to design and build a doghouse. The doghouse was auctioned off, with all proceeds going to Joy Collaborative. In addition to building the doghouse, we raised over $1,200 for the organization.

We got to show off our doghouse at the Barkitecture Happy Hour at Finnegans Brew Co., where we won Finnegans’ Favorite Award! We are proud to be able to support Joy Collaborative’s mission through this engaging fundraiser.
